Many people have never stepped foot inside a karate dojo. Most have seen martial arts in movies or heard stories from friends or family. First you will be taken through the opening and closing routine, and advised of dojo rules. Class begins with the opening ceremony, then a warm up, followed by instruction of basic karate techniques, how much you are taught depends on how quickly you learn, finishing with a cool down and the closing ceremony.
